Tarot Cards!

I went to the Mystic Side and book store over the weekend to pickup my first deck of tarot cards! I had wanted a deck for awhile now, and am excited I finally have one! Everywhere I read said to get the Rider - Waite deck, but it didn't really connect with me, I wanted something a little different so I got the Robin Wood deck. It is based on the rider deck, it is more peagan, not as many Christian  symbols in the artwork. It really is beautiful.
I guess I need to take more time with this deck as it has been kind of a pain! Giving me not so nice cards to my questions.  I guess it just takes some time to get used to each other. I am still excited to work with this deck. I will give an update so we will see!
Update: the more I am working with this deck, the more I understand! I am really loving this journey I am on 😆

      I had a doctor appointment in Fulton today and so stopped by a second hand/antique store. I have never been there but have driven by countless times. The store is huge with so many goodies! I was looking for a  new bag. I got a new wallet a couple weeks ago and needed a new bigger bag as well. I found a cute canvas bag. I also purchased a deck of tarot cards - specifically The Green Witch Tarot cards by Ann Moira. I am so glad I purchased these, they are so pretty! Review for Razorblade Tears by S.A. Cosby

Review I left on Goodreads on September 27, 2023 "This was sad, tugs at the heart strings 💗 2 dads with so much regret because of how they treated their sons when they were alive. Then the sons were both killed, the fathers avenge the deaths in the most action packed way 😁 Loved all the lawn tool references 😆 A great read! 5/5 ⭐️" This book was really good. Extremely emotional. Despite the fathers being absolute shits to their sons, you could feel how much love there was, how much regret that they couldn't express their love in a more healthy way. Book Review "The Light Pirate" by Lily Brooks-Dalton

 I read this book last December. I gave it 5 stars on Goodreads. Some quotes from the book that I loved: "Frida can smell the rich stink of thunder in the air, something like ozone and gasoline and dirt all mixed together. The hurricane is close now, she can taste it." I love how this author writes 😄 "If the ocean is a body, then the waves are it's tongue, long and blue-gray, licking at the beach until there's nothing left. This body is wide and full and deep. It rises, wrapping itself around the world, squeezing the land tight between it's thighs. Ten years means nothing to a body like this. It's been here since the beginning."  Sigh . . . love this writing so much about our earth ❤ Please check this book out, highly recommend!
